The Alfa Romeo 4C was born from the purest Alfa Romeo spirit. A unique car, both in design and technology, created to excite the driver, both on the tracks and on the roads. Now, every passionate driver's dream can be realised.
About the Alfa Romeo 4C
The noise of engines, acceleration and braking, and the spirit of competition. The roar of the crowd, arms raised to the sky, excitement and passion. The name of Alfa Romeo and the faces of drivers, bend after bend.
The blank sheet start to fill with pencilled sketches, the best the Style Centre can produce. Swift strokes express images and ideas, then begin to form lines. The design is changed, improved, perfected.
Then a clay model. In 3/8 scale. Followed by a full scale mock-up, compact, agile, powerful, dynamic and essential, to finalise dimensions and form.
From concept car to production model, the changes are minimal, and made only for homologation purposes.
The objective is to give enthusiasts the supercar of their dreams, a car with unique styling and with design choices at home on both road and track. Once, this was a dream. Now it is the Alfa Romeo 4C.

The Alfa Romeo 4C design takes its inspiration from our rich history , taking styling cues and inspiration from the unmistakable style of the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale.
Built in Modena, Alfa Romeo 4C combines two unique qualities: Alfa engineering & Maserati manufacturing, in one. 4C. Pure Alfa Romeo.
The DNA of the Alfa Romeo 4C is simple: Pure Performance. Each element of the Alfa Romeo 4C's breath taking looks has a specific aerodynamic function and contributes to creating a down force to increase stability at top speed.
As with the exterior, everything on the inside has a precise function and expresses the racing spirit of Alfa Romeo. Such as, the unique body cell which is made from a one-piece shell of carbon fibre.
To ensure that everything is within the drivers reach, the steering wheel is moulded at the bottom which enables the controls. Aluminium pedals and heel guards form the last details of a true sporting character. The seats incorporate a reinforced composite structure and special lightweight padding, helping to maintain the racing position whilst driving.
IGNITE YOUR PASSION
Every detail of the Alfa Romeo 4C is conceived to ignite passion for sportiness. The alloy wheels go from 17" to 19", mounted in different sizes on the front and on the rear, to ensure a perfect balance and the best dynamics.
Brembo brake callipers with 4 small pistons are available in 4 colours: grey, black, yellow and, of course, red.
The spoiler in body-colour or in carbon fibre (available as optional), the Bi-LED headlights with carbon fibre surrounds, the air intakes on the side, the twin tailpipes, the sports seats and the single carbon fibre body all go together to make the Alfa Romeo 4C a small, yet impressive Alfa Romeo masterpiece.

Reactivity is paramount in cars designed to astonish. The ALFA TCT twin dry semi=-automatic clutch with launch control optimises gear changing and acceleration, while fun on the race track is guaranteed by simply flicking the intuitive Alfa D.N.A. selector to Race mode.

The ALFA TCT dry twin-clutch transmission ensures the fastest possible gear shifts under all conditions and features an innovative Launch Control function to optimise vehicle systems and exploit all available acceleration.
IT’S ALL ABOUT D.N.A.
Alfa Romeo 4C is designed around the driver. The Alfa D.N.A. selector has three settings (Dynamic, Natural and All Weather) for adapting the car to the road conditions and the current driving style. What’s more, the exclusive Race mode is designed to further enhance the driving experience on the racing track. Selecting the Dynamic position will cut out the stability control system and the ABS, handing full control of the car over to the driver. The full digital instrument panel with TFT display changes configuration to provide the information most pertinent to the specific Alfa D.N.A. setting.
THE WEIGHT OF LIGHTNESS
The carbon fibre is the most high-tech material in automotive engineering. The chassis of Alfa Romeo 4C Coupé – weighing only 65 kilograms – is a single carbon fibre body. The crankcase and the front and rear frames are made of aluminium, combining solidity and extreme light weight. The outer body is made of SMC composite, a low-density material that combines lightness (it’s 20% lighter than steel) and dimensional stability comparable to steel and superior to aluminium.

SMALL DISPLACEMENT, GREAT PERFORMANCE
The four-cylinder, direct injection, 240hp, 1750 Turbo petrol engine, entirely made of aluminium, brings extraordinary performance with a peak torque of 350 Nm, 80% of which is available at 1700 rpm. Alfa Romeo 4C has a top speed in excess of 160 mph and accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 4.5 seconds.
The Alfa Romeo 4C’s advanced scavenging technology maximises torque at low engine speeds and delivers more power in response to driver input.
To implement the scavenging technology, the engine is also equipped with a new generation turbocharger and a pulse converter exhaust manifold.

Like all top competition cars, the Alfa Romeo 4C uses an automatic cool-down system to protect its turbocharger. Switching off the engine would normally cause the immediate stoppage of oil circulation, causing a loss of lubrication capacity and possible damage to the engine. With the after-run-pump, the oil keeps circulating through the turbocharger until it has cooled.
PERFECT POWER TO WEIGHT RATIO
With its mid-engine configuration and sophisticated suspension layout (superimposed wishbone up front, evolved McPherson on the rear), the Alfa Romeo 4C is perfectly balanced and masters the road at any speed. The powerful braking system, with self-ventilating perforated discs and Brembo callipers on the front wheels, allows the Alfa Romeo 4C to stop from 62 mph to 0 in only 36 metres. Furthermore, Alfa Romeo 4C fits different diameter tyres on the front and rear, to ensure perfect grip on all types of roads and in any weather.
