Mangoletsi Performance Upgrades available for your Alfa
Mangoletsi are the largest and longest established Alfa Romeo dealership in the UK – “Famous for Alfa Romeo since 1968” and now we have used our unrivalled technical knowledge, expertise and experience to develop a menu of performance upgrades for the current range of Alfa Romeo petrol and diesel engines exclusively to Mangoletsi customers.
The performance upgrades can be fitted to Alfa MiTo, 147, 159, GT, Brera and Spider petrol and diesel engines. Bhp power increases range from 150bhp to 60bhp extra. Anecdotally mpg is also improved due to the decrease in revs required to do the same speed before the upgrade was carried out but that depends totally on driving style. Some customers are returning up to 8mpg improvement. Torque is increased across the whole rev range, drivability and overall performance is improved dramatically with almost no turbo lag and no turbo surging.
When fitted to a diesel, the upgrade allows the diesel engine to rev and perform like an Alfa petrol engine with the added advantage of the diesel mpg improvements over the petrol models so you have the best of both worlds.
The upgrades can be fitted to most customers cars or fitted to any car purchased from Mangoletsi where over 300 new and used Alfa Romeo’s are available to buy from stock. Time to fit is 1 hour by appointment with Mangoletsi Service Department, telephone 01565 722899. A large fleet of Alfa Romeo Demonstrator vehicles are always on site for customer test drives in the idyllic winding countryside as well as the M6 motorway which is in close proximity to our dealership.

I had already had the Autodelta conversion fitted on the car that enables the engine to get the most out of the diesel. The change in the engine characteristics was incredible. An already torquey and flexible engine suddenly becomes even more so. On the drive home I had to check the speedo as the acceleration was phenomenal. Engine response is sharp with hardly any turbo lag and the power is so smooth the car pulls without any fuss in any gear.
I promise you that by having this conversion, you will not be disappointed: your fast 159 will be transformed into something that will leave most other diesels of bigger engine capacity standing. The car now pulls right through the rev band and up to about 5500tpm without drop off in power, so much that you think you are in a petrol.”
