Alfa Giulietta Prices and Product Information
Pricing for the eagerly anticipated new Alfa Giulietta has just been announced for the UK market. This stylish new 5 door C-Segment hatchback with coupe’ looks will be publicly unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on 2-4 July, where Alfa Romeo will be celebrating its Centenary as the featured marque. Having made its world preview at the recent Geneva International Motor Show, the new Alfa Romeo Giulietta goes on sale this summer in the UK and will be marketed progressively in all the major markets, thus relaunching the brand in one of the most important segments in Europe.
In Alfa Romeo’s Centenary year, the name Giulietta is a tribute to an automobile and an Alfa Romeo legend. In the Fifties, the Giulietta caught the imagination of car enthusiasts throughout the world, making the dream of owning an Alfa Romeo and enjoying its high level of comfort and technical excellence accessible for the first time.
In line with these Centenary celebrations, the new Alfa Giulietta will be on sale in the UK this summer, and will feature three petrol engines – 1.4 TB 120bhp & 1.4 TB MultiAir 170bhp and the top-of-the-range 1750 TBi 235bhp model that will carry the brand’s iconic Cloverleaf status, and two diesel power units – 1.6 JTD 105bhp and 2.0 JTD M-2 170bhp.
Prices start from £16,995 with the entry-level Turismo and its 1.4 TB 120bhp petrol unit and go up to £24,495 for the highest specification Giulietta 1750 TBi 235bhp Cloverleaf, which can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 6.8 seconds.
The high-powered second generation 2.0 JTDM-2 diesel unit with its 170bhp can propel the car to 62mph from standstill in just 8 seconds, thanks also to its 236 lb/ft of torque while returning over 60 mpg in the combined cycle and emitting a class leading CO2 figure of 124 g/km. This power plant is available in Lusso specification at £21,195.
The new Alfa Giulietta offer a naturally rich level of standard equipment across the whole range such as the VDC (Vehicle Dynamic Control) with Hill holder, the Alfa Romeo D.N.A. system (already present on the MiTo), which allows the driver to choose from three driver settings. This system also comes with Electronic Q2, a system that in conjunction with the braking system simulates the presence of a mechanical limited slip differential for improved road-holding and increased lateral grip when cornering.
Six airbags - one driver, one passenger, two front side & two window are standard on the Giulietta and while the front and rear LED lights with Daytime Running Lights enhance the visuals of the car they also add to the already high level of active safety features.
All engines are turbocharged, Euro 5 compliant and feature Start & Stop technology (except from the 1750 TBi petrol unit) for improved fuel consumption and reduced CO2 emissions.
