Is The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio An Investment?

Will The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio become a collectable? Well it certainly looks like it will in the USA after the stunner was added to Hagerty’s Hot List of future collectible vehicles.

The classic car experts at Hagerty added the most powerful Alfa Romeo production car to its list because of its “stand-out combination of stunning Italian design and craftsmanship, race-inspired technologies and class-leading performance.”

The 2017 Hagerty Hot List represents the most collectible cars under $100,000 available today and in order to be selected, a vehicle must deliver the joy of driving today, along with continuing to foster every gearhead’s (petrolhead to us Brits) love of driving and become collectible in the future.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio is powered by a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine sourced from Ferrari, delivering 505 horsepower. The sedan is capable of going zero to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds and it set a record world time at the Nurburgring with a 7:32 lap, making it the fastest four-door production sedan in the world to lap the track.

This isn’t the first modern Alfa Romeo vehicle that has been selected for the Hot List. Previous models include the 2014 Alfa Romeo 4C, 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition and 2016 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider.

“The Giulia is a true expression of La Dolce Vita,” said McKeel Hagerty, CEO of Hagerty. “It’s the kind of car that makes you want to spend your time looking for twisty roads. The car has the ingredients to become a future classic.”
