The new Fiat 500L for 2018 has been revealed for UK drivers to buy.
The latest generation model of the car boasts more on-board technology and more exterior/interior customisation options.
Three versions of the 500L are offered - Urban, Cross and Wagon.
These different options change certain elements about the car’s exterior design and the way it is tuned. Cross has a crossover-inspired design with new bumpers and a skid plate. Finally, Wagon is the most versatile of the three and more suited to larger families with its seven-seat option.
The car’s design has been updated with a number of features including retro round daytime running lights and a redesigned front bumper which now comes with a mesh lower section. Its design is also more customisable than before with ten pastel or metallic colours and three roof types: body-coloured, glossy black or white or matt black.
The body colours for the car are Bellagio Blue, Sicilian Orange and Donatello Bronze, Bossa Nova White, Hip Hop Yellow, Darkwave Black, Minimal Grey, Heavy Metal Grey, Beatbox Green and Pasodoble Red.
Powering the car is a choice of petrol engines - the 1.4-litre 16V, delivering 95hp, and the 1.4-litre 16V T-Jet, delivering 120hp. Two diesel engines can also be specced which include: the 95hp 1,300cc 16V MultiJet, also available with Dualogic transmission, and the 120hp 1,600cc 16V MultiJet.
Inside the car is a new look dashboard which includes an updated digital display and larger storage compartments. This screen comes in a choice of sizes from 3.5-inches to seven-inches with several different specification packages.
Other things such as a heated windscreen, Apple Car Play and Android Auto and driver assistance systems such as automatic city emergency breaking and a built-in sat nav system.
The new Fiat 500L will be priced from £16,195 OTR for a Fiat 500L 1.4 95hp Pop Star.
