Role Responsibility

  • This is not a ‘sales’ role in the usual sense. It is your job to interpret our customer needs and share your passion for our products in a way that is relevant and free from pressure.
  • This includes taking customers on test drive and appraising their part exchange if required. Therefore a full driving license is essential.
  • You will be a brand ambassador for the Mangoletsi brand and the five franchises which we currently represent. Alfa Romeo, Jeep, Fiat, Abarth and Suzuki.
  • You will be expected to have knowledge and an interest in cars and specific knowledge of our brands would be an advantage but is not essential. While we will help with our comprehensive training schedule, it is your responsibility to learn all technical details of our cars and explain them to our customers in a jargon free and relevant way.
  • Once the customer is completely happy that they have chosen the right vehicle you will pass them over to one of our managers to go through the figures and if appropriate, complete the order. Once experienced, you may be allowed to go through the figures yourself.
  • You will liaise with customers between order and delivery and give them a follow up call 48 hours after delivery to make sure that all is to their full satisfaction.
  • You will be required to help with the hand over of sold vehicles and demonstrate vehicle controls, fully explain the vehicle operation, pair customer phones etc.
  • You must have excelled interpersonal skills both face to face and over the phone.
  • You must also have a good working knowledge of Microsoft software and Familiarity with social media would be an advantage.
  • Additionally you will be asked to take an interest in our website looking for errors or ways of improving it by comparing to our competitors for example. Our website and marketing coordinator will then make improvements accordingly.
  • If you are creative, you might want to get involved in marketing Mangoletsi and our brands through social media, e-commerce etc.
  • We are always interested to receive input from everyone in our team. If you come up with a good idea it will be adopted quickly, if it works we'll do more of it and if it fails we'll stop. This is the benefit of working within an innovative privately owned business that's light on its feet.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for providing exceptional levels of customer service to work within a very busy and fast growing multi brand Dealership. This is a challenging role where customer care and working as a close team are key. You’ll take the time to talk to people, build a genuine rapport and identify exactly what it is that they want and need.

You must hold a full UK Driving License.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate skills and experience in the following abilities;

You must have knowledge or experience of:

  • Customer handling techniques
  • Telephone techniques and etiquette
  • IT Systems including Microsoft Office

Working Hours Monday to Friday 9.00 am - 6.00 pm with one day off each week and every other weekend 9.00 am - 5.00 pm Saturday and 11.00 am - 5.00 pm Sunday with 45 minutes for lunch.
