Motability

About Motability
Motability is a registered charity, which helps disabled people and their families in the UK to become more mobile. It was set up on the initiative of the Government in 1977 to provide vehicles to disabled people. Terms have been arranged with motor manufacturers, wheelchair and vehicle adaptation suppliers and insurance companies so that a scheme could be offered that enables people with disabilities to become more mobile.
We pride ourselves in our long established reputation for excellent customer service in everything we do, and believe that everyone should be able to enjoy motoring. Which is why we are so proud to be part of the Motability Scheme.
You'll find a huge range of new vehicles available through the scheme and available from Nil Advance Payment. So you can enjoy the comfort, safety and technology of a new car at fantastic value. Plus, our Motability Specialists are on hand to help you every step of the way.
Am I eligible to join the Scheme?
You can apply to join the Motability Scheme if you receive one of these disability allowances:
Enhanced rate mobility part of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
Higher rate mobility part of Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
You need to have at least 12 months left on your allowance if you're applying to join the Scheme. You can check your award length on your allowance award letter.
